Hi, my name is Sheila Warbis. I was born in Cardiff and my great uncle, John Hughes, composed the hymn Cwm Rhondda. I have taught in many schools, and enjoy one-to-one tuition especially.
I am currently at Poole High School and have recently taught at Bryanston School as well. I studied at two universities, Surrey and Exeter, and have a Bachelor of Music degree with Honours and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education. I have also been DBS checked by my schools.
I have been teaching for about 40 years now, although I still find I get a great buzz from seeing pupils improve and grow more confident in themselves. I can do grades with pupils; particularly ABRSM and Rockschool.
